Club Ourense Baloncesto (LEB Gold) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Jamaican 218cm center Romaro Gill (college: Seton Hall) for season 2023-24. Gill played this summer at Sharks in New Zealand NBL league, but left the team in May. In 9 games just recently he recorded 9.2ppg, 7.2rpg and 2.0bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Gill has played also professionally in USA, NBA (Utah Jazz), NBA G League (SLC Stars and Raptors 905 Missisauga) and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers and LA Lakers). He won NJCAA D1 District XVI championship title in 2016 and 2017.
Among many awards he received All-Big East Most Improved Player of the Year award and All-Big East Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2020.
Gill graduated from Seton Hall University in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played also for Vincennes University for 2 years.
