Jahvaughn Powell agreed terms with Zamora

Zamora Enamora (LEB Silver) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) 183cm guard Jahvaughn Powell (college: Nicholls State, agency: Helping Ballers) for season 2023-24. He is not a newcomer in Spanish League as he played most recently at Decolor Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda. In 28 LEB Silver games in Spain he recorded 13.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.9spg (in top 5) last season.
He ended the previous (2021-22) season at Aquimisa Carbajosa Empresarial where in 12 LEB Silver games he averaged impressive 16.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.7apg and 1.5spg in that year. But the most of that year he spent at Oliveirense in Portuguese Liga Betclic. In 13 games he had 8.2ppg, 1.8rpg, 3.0apg and 1.8spg in that year.
He has played previously for two other Spain teams: Alcobendas and Azpeitia Juaristi Iraurgi Saski Baloia.
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He graduated from Nicholls State in 2018 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Powell played also for Tallahassee Community College for 2 years.
