AEL Limassol sign a second USA player

AEL Limassol (OPAP Basket League) landed 31-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) 203cm forward Phil Henry (college: ENMU) for new season. He joins another USA player Jordan Shepherd who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at San Martin in Argentinian La Liga. In 26 games he averaged 6.7ppg and 2.5rpg last season.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in sixteen different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Henry has played previously professionally in Chile (Quilicura), Colombia (Cafeteros), France (La Charite), Georgia (Cactus), Luxembourg (Amicale), Portugal (Ovarense), Saudi Arabia (Al Salam), Slovakia (Spisski Rytieri), Spain (Azuqueca), Switzerland (Winterthur), Uruguay (Atenas), Cyprus (Apollon and Anorthosis), Czech Republic (Pardubice), Norway (Tromso), MBL (Bronx Holy Flames) and North Macedonia (KK Ohrid AV).
Among many awards his college team made it to the Alpe Adria Cup final in 2022. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Honorable Mention in 2021.
Henry graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for Highland Community College, Kansas for 2 years.
