Thomas signs at Lleida

Quintrell Thomas

ICG Forca Lleida (LEB Gold) confirmed in their roster 33-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) power forward Quintrell Thomas (203cm-111kg-1990, college: UNLV). The last season he played at Defensor in Uruguayan LUB where in 29 games he had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg and 9.5rpg. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay LUB Honorable Mention.
He is quite experienced player. He has played in eight different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Israel (Maccabi Hod Hasharon, Kiryat Ata and Maccabi Raanana), Italy (Nardo), Portugal (Oliveirense), Qatar (Al Khor), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal and Ittihad), Ukraine (Kirovograd), Uruguay and Angola (Interclube).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Portuguese League championship title in 2018. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Portuguese League All-Defensive Team back in 2018.
He graduated from University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2013 and it is his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. He played also for University of Kansas for one year.
