Urban Knights race past Upper Room Eagles in Game 1 of Finals

A balanced attack led by Nicholai Brown's double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds helped to guide Urban Knights to 68-63 victory over Upper Room Eagles in Game 1 of the #NBLJamaica Finals on Thursday night at the National Stadium court. Jadeja McCormack and Romaine Spence combined for 15 rebounds while contributing with 13 and 12 points. Eagles' David Thomas was inspirational leading his squad on the tally chart with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 huge blocks, but it wasnt enough to thwart the Knights. D'andre Forbes chipped in with 11 points and 7 boards. Anthony White finished with a 10 and 11 double-double of his own. Tomorrow is Game 2 at the same venue. Can Eagles extend the series, or will the Knights' celebration begin.
