Givova Scafati Basket signed 36-year-old American guard Sek Henry, who is 193cm tall and holds both USA and Jamaican passports. Henry, who played college basketball at Nebraska, previously played for Samsunspor in the Turkish BSL league, averaging 13.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.1spg in 20 games. Last summer, he played for In the Lab in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He is a very experienced player who has traveled the world during his pro career, playing in twelve different countries on five continents - Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and North America. He has played professionally in Australia (New Zealand Breakers), China (Hunan), France (Pau Lacq Orthez, JDA Dijon, Gravelines Dunkerque), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia), Japan (Happinets), Poland (AZS), Puerto Rico (Piratas), Spain (Zaragoza), Turkey (Pinar Karsiyaka), Venezuela (Bucaneros), Italy (Brindisi, Orlandina), and Big3 (Enemies).
He played in the final of Basketball Champions League in 2021 and was voted to Eurobasket.com FIBA Europe Cup All-Imports Team in 2019. This may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Scafati.
He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2010 and it's his 14th season in pro basketball.
