Andell Cumberbatch signs at Hyeres-Toulon

Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket (NM1) has signed 30-year-old American small forward Andell Cumberbatch, who also holds a Jamaican passport. Standing at 195cm, Cumberbatch played college basketball at St. Bonaventure. Last season, he was the top scorer for Rouen Metropole Basket in France's NM1 league, averaging 13.8ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.2apg, 1.5spg, and 1.0bpg in 17 games. He was instrumental in helping his team win the regular season and received several accolades, including being voted to the Eurobasket.com French NM1 All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 First Team.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Austria (Gunners Oberwart), Belgium (Circus Brussels), Cyprus (Etha), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), France (Sluc Nancy and JA Vichy), and Czech Republic (Brno).
