Defending champion Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Liga Nova KBM) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) 193cm guard Brynton Lemar (college: UC Davis) for upcoming season. Lemar joins another USA player D.J. Stewart Jr. who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at H.Jerusalem in Israeli Winner League. In 13 games he recorded 11.2ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.2apg last season. He also played 12 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 7.4ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.5apg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at AEK Athens in Greek GBL. In 8 games he had 11.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.9apg and 1.0spg in that year. He also played 6 games in Basketball Champions League where he got impressive 15.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.0apg and 1.7spg in that year. The other team he played that season for was Le Mans in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 10 games he got 8.8ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.5apg in that year. Lemar helped them to make it to the French Leaders Cup Semifinals.
He is a very experienced player. Lemar has played also professionally in Hungary (Sopron KC), Italy (Reggio Emilia), Poland (Start), Russia (Enisey), Turkey (Gaziantep) and France (Caen and Sluc Nancy).
Among many awards Lemar's college team won Big West Tournament in 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Lemar graduated from University of California - Davis in 2017 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
