Zamora keeps Powell for another season

Zamora Enamora (LEB Silver) has re-signed 28-year-old USA-Jamaican 183cm guard Jahvaughn Powell for the upcoming season. Powell, who played college basketball at Nicholls and is represented by Helping Ballers agency, is the second foreign player on the team, joining British player Jacob Round. Powell played for Zamora Enamora last season, averaging 13.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.1apg, and 1.3spg in 33 LEB Silver games. He was instrumental in helping the team win the cup and reach the league final. In the previous 2022-23 season, Powell played for another Spanish team, Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda.
He has played professionally in Portugal (Oliveirense), Spain (Alcobendas, Azpeitia Juaristi Iraurgi Saski Baloia, and Carbajosa), and Portugal.
He received many awards, including being voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Silver Honorable Mention in 2019.
Powell graduated from Nicholls State University in 2018 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball. He played also for Tallahassee Community College for 2 years.
