Caen signs Kentan Facey

Kentan Facey

Caen Basket Calvados (NM1) signed 30-year old Jamaican power forward Kentan Facey (206cm-93kg-1993, college: UConn) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He will still stay in France where he was the best rebounder at Union Poitiers Basket 86. In 29 ProB games in France, he had 8.8ppg and 5.4rpg. He helped them to make it to the French ProB Leaders Cup Semifinals. The previous (2022-23) season, he played at another French team Saint Vallier (also in ProB).
Facey is a quite experienced player, having played professionally in Cyprus (Payabl EKA AEL Limassol), Greece (Trikala), France (ADA Blois and Souffelweyersheim), and The Basketball Tournament (Sideline Cancer).
Facey's team achieved success in making it to the AAC Tournament Semifinals in 2017. Facey received recognition by being voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention in 2020.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 and it'll be his 8th season as a pro player.
