EB Orthez sign Walter Whyte

Walter Whyte

Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez (ProB) signed Walter Whyte for the new season. He is a 26-year-old USA-Jamaican swingman from Boston. Whyte is the second import player on the team, joining Sitraka Raharimanantoanina from Madagascar. Whyte last played for Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen in the Belgian Pro Basketball League, averaging 9.7ppg, 4.3rpg, and 1.3apg in three games. He also played 32 games in the BNXT League, averaging 11.9ppg, 3.7rpg, and 1.0apg.
Among many awards, his college team won the Patriot League Tournament in 2020. He was voted to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team back in 2018.
Whyte graduated from Boston in 2023, and it'll be his second season in pro basketball.
