Kadre Gray (ex Scarborough) agreed terms with Rm Valcea

Kadre Gray

CS Valcea 1924 Rm Valcea (Liga Nationala) signed 26-year-old Canadian-Jamaican international 186cm guard Kadre Gray (college: Laurentian) for the upcoming season. He was the assist leader at Scarborough in the Canadian CEBL. In 20 games he played recently, he recorded 10.7ppg, 3.2rpg, and 5.2apg last season. During the last season, he played at GTK (OBL) in the Polish league.
He has also been a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Gray has regularly played for the Canadian senior team since 2018 and previously for the University National Team in 2019.
He also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 4 ppg and had 2 rpg.
Gray is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Germany (Leverkusen), Poland, and Spain (Coruna).
During the 2023 season, Gray's team was the regular season runner-up in the CEBL Eastern Conference. Gray received the USBasket.com All-CEBL Canadian Player of the Year award and was voted to the USBasket.com CEBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2023.
He graduated from Laurentian University in 2020 and it'll be his fifth season in pro basketball.
