Willesley Butler (ex Umea) is a newcomer at Toulouse

Toulouse Basket Club (NM1) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year-old American (who also has a Jamaican passport) forward Willesley Butler (203cm-111kg-1996, college: UAB) for the 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, as Algerian Samir Mekdad signed earlier. Butler played for the last three years at Umea BSKT in the Swedish Basketligan, where he averaged 14.7ppg, 8.1rpg, and 2.4apg in 29 games last season. He had a good year, being voted League Player of the Week and selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Second Team.
He has played professionally in Spain (Huesca) before.
In 2023, his team reached the Basketligan Semifinals. He received the Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Basketligan Honorable Mention in 2022.
Butler graduated from UAB in 2020 and it'll be his fifth season as a pro player. He also played for PSC for 2 years.
