Otef Darom BC (National League) inked 24-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) 204cm center Kareem Reid (college: Gardner-Webb). He started the season at H.Be'er Sheva (Winner League). In four games he averaged 3.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.0apg. National League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season season he played at Weegree AZS Politechnika Opolska (1Liga) in Polish league.
He represented Jamaica at the National Prep Championship Semifinals six years ago. During this event he scored an average of 13.6 points per game and had 10.4 rebounds per game.
Among many awards his team made it to the National Prep Championship Semifinals in 2019. Reid was voted to All-Big South Conference Honorable Mention in 2023 at his college time.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2023 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
