The Central Celtics came out the gates like a well-oiled machine in the season-opening night’s first match, leading 13-9 in the first quarter. However, the Warriors found their footing and confidence in the second quarter, entering half-time with a 27-19 lead. In the second half, Warriors stayed focused while committing fewer turnovers, while on the other hand Celtics appeared disorganized at times which definitely made the match somewhat lopsided down to the end. The game concluded with the Warriors securing a comfortable 65-44 victory. Brendan Fraser led the Warriors with a team-high 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals off the bench. Tafari Vassell (G) also contributed significantly, adding 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. For the Celtics, Rashane O’Brien led his team with 14 points and 5 rebounds, while floor general Yahvari Fearon added 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.
