Flames edge Raptors in NBL showdown

Portmore Flames edged Rae Town Raptors in a nail-biting NBL showdown on Tuesday night at the National Stadium court. Despite trailing 14-10 after the first quarter and 30-21 at halftime, the Flames turned the game around with a dominant 19-4 third quarter run. Alex Brown led the charge for Portmore with a pivotal double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rae Town’s Tijonny Forbes was outstanding, delivering a pristine double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds, accounting for 46% of his team’s scoring. However, his efforts weren’t enough to secure the win against the red-hot Flames.
