Scottie Barnes, Isaiah Stewart, Devin Vassell May Join Jamaican National Team- June 5, 2025The Jamaican national team has been adding established NBA talent ahead of upcoming FIBA competition. Now, even more reinforcements may be on the way. Scottie Barnes (201-F-2001, college: FSU) of the Toronto Raptors, Isaiah Stewart II (206-F/C-2001, college: Washington) of the Detroit Pistons and Devin Vassell (196-G-2000, college: FSU) of the San Antonio Spurs are in talks to play for Jamaica on the national team level. The trio would join Amen Thompson (201-G-2003) of the Houston Rockets and Ausar Thompson (201-SG-2003) of the Detroit Pistons, who have begun the process to be eligible to play for Jamaica. Norman Powell (193-SG-1993, college: UCLA) of the LA Clippers and Josh Minott (204-F-2002, college: Memphis) of the Minnesota Timberwolves have already committed to play for the Jamaican national team in FIBA World Cup Americas Pre-Qualifying games this August. Nick Richards of the Phoenix Suns may join the team as well.
