The UWI Runnin’ Rebels pulled off a dramatic 59-53 comeback victory over Rae Town Raptors in Game 2, securing their spot in the NBL semifinals.
Determined to extend their playoff run, the Raptors controlled the first three quarters, building a 10-point lead (47-37). But in the fourth, the Rebels flipped the script, launching a 22-6 blitz to snatch the win. Omarie Green (191-G/F-1988) was the driving force, delivering a 24-point, 19-rebound double-double, while Emanuel Archibald added 15 points to fuel the charge. For the Raptors, Tijonny Forbes fought hard, securing another double-double (21 pts, 22 rebs, 5 asts), with Andre Johnson (10 pts, 8 rebs) contributing as well.
The Rebels now turn their focus to their semifinal clash with Upper Room Eagles, set to tip off this Thursday.
