Kadre Gray (ex Valcea) is a newcomer at Slask

Kadre Gray

WKS Slask Wroclaw (OBL) added 27-year old Canadian-Jamaican international 186cm guard Kadre Gray (college: Laurentian) to their roster for the 2025-26 season. Gray, who most recently played at Valcea in Romanian Liga Nationala, put up impressive stats of 20.1ppg, 5.4rpg, and 6.2apg in 38 games last season, helping his team reach the semifinals. He was named to Eurobasket.com Romanian League All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and was League Player of the Week four times. In the previous summer of 2024, he played for Shooting Stars (Canada-CEBL), averaging 10.7ppg, 3.2rpg, and 5.2apg in 20 games.
Gray has been a member of the Canadian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Canadian senior team since 2018 and previously for the University National Team in 2019.
Gray also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 4 ppg and had 2 rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Gray has played professionally in Canada (Bandits and Blackjacks), Germany (Leverkusen), Romania, Spain (Coruna), and Poland (GTK).
In 2023, his team finished as regular season runner-up in the CEBL Eastern Conference. In 2024, he was selected to the Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention team.
Gray graduated from Laurentian University in 2020 and it'll be his sixth season in pro basketball.
