M.Ramat Gan signs Joirdon Nicholas

Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan (Winner League) signed 26-year old American (has also Jamaican passport) forward Joirdon Nicholas (206cm-100kg-1999, college: Texas Southern) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Scarborough in the Canadian CEBL. In 18 games, he had 8.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.0spg. He also played for Team Challenge ALS in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament. Another team he briefly played for was Shooting Stars (Scarborough Shooting Stars (Canada-CEBL)) in the Canadian Scarborough Shooting Stars (Canada-CEBL).
Nicholas is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys), NBA (Atlanta Hawks), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, College Park SkyHawks, and Cleveland Charge), and NBA Summer League (LA Lakers).
Nicholas won the Mexican CIBACOPA Regular Season in 2024 among many awards. He was also part of the SWAC All-Tournament Team in 2021.
He graduated from Texas Southern University in 2023 and it'll be his third season as a pro player. Nicholas played for other colleges like Stephen F. Austin State University and the University of Montana.
