Al Sadd Sports Club Doha (QBL) signed 29-year-old American (who also holds a Jamaican passport) 213cm power forward Reggie Kissoonlal (college: Marian, IN, agency: One Motive Sports) for the upcoming season. He most recently played at Fail Harder (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In four TBT games he played, he averaged 8.5ppg and 3.3rpg last season. During the last season, he played for Cruise in the NBA G League.
He is a very experienced player. Kissoonlal has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played professionally in China (Wuhan), Cyprus (Etha), Denmark (Randers), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks, Maine Celtics and Grand Rapids Gold), NBA Summer League (Boston Celtics) and TBL (95ers).
Kissoonlal's team reached the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals in 2019. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen Honorable Mention in 2021.
It is worth mentioning that he also played at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him secure a job in professional basketball.
He graduated from Marian University, IN in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Kissoonlal played also for Northwestern State University for 3 years.
