Nantes add Masters to their roster

Hermine Nantes Atlantique (ProB) added 31-year old Jamaican-Canadian point guard Javon Masters (183cm-1994, college: UNB, agency: Blacktop Management) to their roster for the new 2026-27 season. He is not a newcomer in the French League as he played last season at Chorale Roanne Basket. In 38 ProB games in France, he recorded 13.3ppg, 1.9rpg, and 3.3apg. He helped them to make it to the cup final. The previous (2024-25) season, he played at another French team Champagne Basket Reims (Betclic ELITE ProA).
Masters is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Canada (Honey Badgers and Blackjacks), Germany (Tigers), Romania (Dinamo Bucuresti and Galati), Spain (Ourense), and France (Pau Lacq Orthez and La Rochelle).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Masters graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2018 and is entering his ninth season as a professional player.
