Lopez is back at Costa Caribe

Costa Caribe (LNB) signed 27-year old Nicaragua center Bartel Lopez (212-93kg-89, agency: Paris Global Sports). It is actually his comeback to Costa Caribe as he has played here before. Lopez played last summer at Ferreteria Brenes Barva in Costa Rican LBS league. He helped them to win the league title (twice) (also twice). Lopez was voted Latinbasket.com All-Centrobasket Honorable Mention in 2016.
He represented Nicaragua at the COCABA Championships in San Jose (Costa Rica) last year. Lopez's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 4 games: 13.5ppg, Reb-1 (13.5rpg), 1.3apg, 1.5spg, Blocks-1 (3.5bpg), FGP: 42.6%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 41.7%.
Lopez has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Spain (Quintanar), Nicaragua (Matagalpa and Leones) and El Salvador (Chaleco and Isidro Metapan).
