Correcaminos clinched the title in San Salvador. They overcame Santa Tecla in the battle of two undefeated sides to conquer the trophy. Correcaminos therefore secured Liga Americas birth. Ernesto Oglivie (203-F-89) stepped up with 21 points for Correcaminos. Santa Tecla jumped to a 26:21 lead after ten minutes. Correcaminos erased the deficit and pulled ahead for a 41:38 halftime lead. Santa Tecla bounced back in the third term. They regained the lead heading into the fourth stanza up by 2 points. But Correcaminos had the last word in this one. They poured in 29 points in the final period and got away with the trophy. Tyler Gaskins (193-F-92, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 22 points for the champions. Robert Martinez (185-PG-91, college: Our Lady Lake) responded with 21 points and 7 assists for Santa Tecla. Lisvan Valdez (200-F-88) had 18 points in the loss.
Halcones - Banco Atlantida 73-80
Banco Atlantida clinched the first win in San Salvador. They topped Halcones to finish at 1-4 record. Quincy Scates (197-F-89, college: Tenn Wesleyan) tallied 36 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Banco Atlantida unleashed 29 points in the second term to take a 6-point halftime lead. Halcones cut the distance to a single point heading into the fourth quarter. But Banco Atlantida posted 21 points in the final frame and rallied to the win. Amet Pomares (185-G-95) had 12 points for the winners. Ignacio Ramos (170-PG-92) responded with 23 points and 6 assists for Halcones.
Costa Caribe - San Pedro T. 82-94
San Pedro claimed the third victory at the Liga Centroamericana. They wrapped up their campaign with a comfortable win over Costa Caribe. Ashton Edwards (SG) provided 27 points to lead the winners. San Pedro recorded a 42:38 halftime lead. They unloaded 52 points in the second half to seal the win. George Williams (198-G-90, college: Wayland Baptist) accounted for 24 points and 6 steals in the victory. Ryann Abraham (182-PG-87, college: Appalachian St.) responded with 26 points and 7 rebounds for Costa Caribe.
