Americana clinched the Liga Sudamericana title. They edged UTE in the Final. Damiris Do Amaral (192-C-92) was unstoppable with 30 points and 8 rebounds for the Brazilian team. UTE enjoyed a 28:23 halftime lead. But Americana turned things around in the second half. The Brazilian team spurred ahead to take a 46:42 lead heading into the fourth frame. Americana dropped 24 points in the final period and celebrated the trophy. Karla Martins provided 14 points and 8 rebounds for Americana. Nadia Gomes Calhado (193-C-89, agency: FirstPick Basketball Mngm) responded with 22 points and 12 rebounds for UTE. Iziane Castro Marques (182-G/F-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss.

Berazategui - New Crusaders 51-80
New Crusaders finished their Liga Sudamericana campaign on a high note. They knocked down Berazategui for the third position in Santiago. Sandra Pavon (175-PG-85) scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for New Crusaders. The Chilean team opened a 37:22 halftime advantage. They sank 43 points in the second half and cruised to the win. Javiera Novion (170-G-87, college: Eckerd) netted 19 points in the victory. Ornella Santana (183-F/C-90) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds for Berazategui.
