Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
An interesting game for Ecuadorian Audaz (3-0) which played road game in Medellin against Colombian Leonas. Audaz managed to get a 5-point victory 70-65. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 22-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American power forward Jacinta Monroe (196-88, college: FSU, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Her fellow American import swingman Shacobia Barbee (179-94, college: Georgia) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Jenifer Munoz (170-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for Leonas. Leonas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Audaz will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leonas will play at home against Victoria and hope to get finally their first victory.
An interesting game for Venezuelan Pastoras de Lara (1-2) which hosted in Barquisimeto Bolivian Carl A-Z (0-3). Pastoras de Lara managed to get a 7-point victory 84-77. It was a great evening for Yosimar Corrales (184-90) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Ivaney Marquez helped adding 18 points and 6 assists. Pastoras de Lara's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Nicole Rojas (166-94) with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
