Malvin - Felix Perez 70-75 The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Uruguayan Malvin (0-1) in Montevideo on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by Paraguayan Felix Perez (1-0) 75-70. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Felix Perez shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Alexus Johnson (188-1994, college: Texas Southern) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Romina Rodriguez (167-1992) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Celia Fiorotto (186-1992) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Quimsa. Defending Bolivian champion maintains first place with 1-0 record, which they share with Felix Perez. Quimsa at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost.
