Daniela Wallen (ex Keflavik) is a newcomer at Indeportes

Indeportes Ant (LSBF) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Venezuelan international small forward Daniela Wallen (179cm-1995, college: Okla City) for season 2023. Wallen moved there from Keflavik in Icelandic Subway League. She has played there for the last four years. Wallen helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. A very spectacular season in her career as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Forward of the Year and League Player of the Week (5 times).
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Wallen has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2013 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2011.
She represented Venezuela at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) last year. Her team got to the Semifinals and her stats at that event were 5 games: Score-4 (13.0ppg), 6.4rpg, 2.2apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 46.3%, 3PT: 22.7%, FT: 54.5%.
Wallen is quite experienced player. Thanks to Wallen's pro career she managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in five different countries. She has played previously professionally in Australia (Geelong Supercats), Finland (Peli Karhut), Paraguay (Sol de America Asuncion), Sweden (IK Eos) and Ecuador (Leones). Wallen was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Defensive Player of the Year in 2020 and 2021.
She won Finnish League championship title in 2019.
Wallen graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2017 and it is her sixth season as a professional player. She played also for Independence Community College for one year.
