Univ. San Simon inks Agustina Garcia, ex Instituto

Universidad San Simon (Libobasquet) signed 26-year old Argentinian international swingman Agustina Garcia (173cm-1996, agency: BIG). Garcia moved there from Instituto in Argentinian LaLiga Femenina where she started the season. In 11 games just recently she had 10.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Garcia has been also a member of Argentinian international program for some years. She has regularly played for Argentinian senior team since 2019 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2015.
Garcia represented Argentina at the FIBA South American Women's Championship in San Luis (Argentina) last year. Garcia's team won Silver and her stats at that event were 4 games: 2.3ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.0apg.
She is quite experienced player. Garcia has played also professionally in Brazil (Ituano), Paraguay (Felix Perez), Uruguay (Yale) and Argentina (Union Florida, Proyeccion 2020 - Seleccion U19, Club Deportivo de Berazategui Buenos Aires, Estrella Berisso and Social Lanus). She won Argentinian La Liga Apertura championship title in 2019 and 2021.
