Murphy's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

37-year old swingman Eshaya Murphy (181-G/F-1985) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Bucaros and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Indeportes (#2, 2-1) 69-61. In the team's last game Murphy had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Bucaros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Southern California graduate has very impressive stats this year. Murphy is league's best scorer averaging so far 20.0ppg. Murphy is in league's top in and averages solid 2.3spg and 85.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Mayra Leiva (185-C-1996) of Dep.Berazategui. She is a center in her first season at Dep.Berazategui. In the last game Leiva recorded impressive double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Dep.Berazategui to another comfortable win outscoring UDJ (#4, 0-3) 53-32. Leiva is one of the most experienced players at Dep.Berazategui and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.7ppg (#8). She also registered 9.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Bucaros' star - center Kai James (196-C-1995). James showcased her all-around game by recording 15 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. She was another key player of Bucaros, helping her team with a 69-61 win against #2 ranked Indeportes. Bucaros started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. James turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. James has a great season in Liga SudAmericana. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.3ppg (5th best), rebounds with 11.0rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 3.0apg (8th best).
