The game was mostly controlled by Indeportes. Aguada managed to win second period 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aguada 46-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. Forward Jenifer Munoz (170-1991) fired 28 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Manuela Rios (165-1997) chipped in 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian-Italian point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) produced 23 points and American Stephanie Madden (186-1988, college: Langston) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Quimsa - Bucaros 50-74

The game without a history. Bucaros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Bucaros forced 24 Quimsa turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin-American swingman Eshaya Murphy (181-1985, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Bolivian Ana Paz (-1981) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Colombian-Argentinian center Malvina DAgostino (184-2001) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds and center Julieta Mungo (181-1997) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Quimsa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
