Best players of Liga SudAmericana round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Florencia Fernandez (175-F-1998) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Atletico Aguada and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 17 points and 21 rebounds, while her team beat Caldas (#4, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 73-58. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Aguada was forced-out from the top positions in Liga SudAmericana. Aguada is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Fernandez turned to be Aguada's top player in her first season with the team. Fernandez has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.0ppg) and averages solid 2.0bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Aguada's star - young Argentinian shooting guard Agustina Marin (170-SG-2003). Marin impressed basketball fans with 17 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Fernandez she helped Atletico Aguada with another comfortable win 73-58 over Caldas (#4, 0-2) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Aguada consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 1-1 record is not bad at all. Marin is one of the most experienced players at Aguada and similarly like Florencia Fernandez has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#4).

The third best performed player last round was Alma Bourgarel (170-G-2006) of top-ranked Obras Basket Buenos Aires. Bourgarel scored 16 points. She was a key player of Obras, leading her team to a 78-56 easy win against #3 ranked Club de Tenis. Obras has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Bourgarel also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Bourgarel as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
