Brazil - Puerto Rico 89-79
Brazil is the winner of Marchand Cup 2011. The host of this event outplayed Puerto Rico 89-79 for perfect 3-0 record. Puerto Rico finished as No.2 with 2-1 score. Tiago Splitter (211-C/F-85, agency: Interperformances) stepped up for the hosts with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Marcelo Magalhaes (199-F/G-75, agency: Interperformances) had 12 points and Alex Ribeiro (191-G-80, agency: Interperformances) helped with one less. Guilherme Giovannoni (202-F-80, agency: Interperformances) followed them with 10 points and 5 rebounds. In Puerto Rico, center Daniel Santiago (216-C-76, agency: Priority Sports, college: N.Mexico) collected 17 points and 8 boards. Ricky Sanchez (212-C/F-87) and Alejandro Carmona (194-G/F-83) had 14 and 11 points respectively. Brazil exploded in the first quarter 27-18 and Puerto Rico answered with 16-25 for rest of the first half. Third period was the crucial one in this meeting as Tiago Spliter and his teammates won it 22-14. Puerto Rico was not able to reply in the last ten minutes and Brazil won the Marchand Cup with perfect 3-0.

Canada - Dominican Republic 62-64
Dominican Republic avoided last place in Brazil. In the last day of the Marchand Cup 2011 Dominicans grabbed 64-62 win against Canada to end as third ranked team at this event with 1-2 record. Canada is No.4 with no win (0-3). Francisco Garcia (201-F/G-81, college: Louisville) led the scorers in Dominican Republic with 18 points. Jack Michael Martinez (203-F/C-81, agency: Paris Global Sports) was their best player with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. He reached valuation 19. Luis Flores (188-G-81, college: Manhattan) helped the winners with 10 points. On the other side, Canada got 18 points and 5 rebounds from Carl English (192-G-81, college: Hawaii). Aaron Doornekamp (198-F-85, agency: Interperformances) and Denham Brown (198-F-83, agency: Edge Sports, college: Connecticut) delivered 11 and 10 points respectively. Quarters: 15-17, 11-22, 17-15, 19-10. Brazil is the winner of Marchand Cup 2011. They ended it with perfect 3-0 record.
