Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) who recorded 21 points and 6 rebounds and Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
