Teporacas knocked down Mieleras to conquer LMBPF title. They stormed past Mieleras to complete the sweep. Teporacas forced 21 Mieleras turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Mieleras' players. It was a good game for the former international forward Jacqueline Luna-Castro (188-1993, college: Charleston) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Bolivian Ana Paz (-1981) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Teporacas players scored in double figures. Nigerian forward Ijeoma Uchendu (185-1992, college: Butler) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Cuban Oyanaisy Gelis (172-1983) added 4 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Mieleras. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
