Halc.Rojos - Pioneros 58-54

Halcones Rojos have clinched the LNBP title. They overcame Pioneros in a dramatic seventh game of the title series to celebrate the trophy. Halcones Rojos regained the title they won back in 2012. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 18-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (201-84, college: S.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds. International point guard Brody Angley (180-86, college: Santa Clara) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Panamanian power forward Jose Lloreda (203-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Hector Hernandez (206-85, college: Fresno St.) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Pioneros.

The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 25-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (201-84, college: S.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 9 rebounds. American swingman Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Hector Hernandez (206-85, college: Fresno St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Panamanian power forward Jose Lloreda (203-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Pioneros. Pioneros grabbed the third consecutive victory in the LNBP Finals. They overcame Halcones Rojos at home court to take 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series. The game was mostly controlled by Pioneros. Halcones Rojos managed to win second period 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Puerto Rican point guard Denis Clemente (183-86, college: Kansas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Robert Hornsby (201-82, college: Troy) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (201-84, college: S.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Halcones Rojos. Pioneros claimed the second straight victory against Halcones Rojos leveling the series at 2-2. The game without a history. Pioneros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Pioneros especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican point guard Denis Clemente (183-86, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists. The former international swingman Romel Beck (201-82, college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Pioneros players scored in double figures. American swingman Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) replied with 28 points and the former international center Rodrigo Zamora (206-86, college: Montana St.) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Halcones Rojos. It was a good game for Panamanian power forward Jose Lloreda (203-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard Denis Clemente (183-86, college: Kansas St.) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Five Pioneros players scored in double figures. American swingman Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) answered with 41 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard LeRoy Hickerson (196-82, college: Cumberlands) added 6 points in the effort for Halcones Rojos. Halcones Rojos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.

Panamanian power forward Jose Lloreda (203-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Hector Hernandez (206-85, college: Fresno St.) added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Pioneros.
