    Soles de Mexicali earned LNBP title. They prevailed against Capitanes on the road to win the championship series 4-1. Soles looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Soles players scored in double figures. The former international guard Gabriel Giron (192-88) produced 31 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92, agency: Basket Management Solutions) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
