Zonkeys de Tijuana (CIBACOPA) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American forward Mychal Ammons (198-102kg-92, college: S.Alabama). He moved there from Idaho Stampede (D-League) in the U.S. where he started the season. In 14 games he recorded just 2.2ppg and 3.6rpg this season. Ammons also played at Estudiantes (LigaA) in Argentinian league that season. In 6 D-League games he averaged 3.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3bpg. The last season he played at Feni Industries (Prva Liga) in FYR Macedonian league. In 26 games he averaged 9.4ppg, 7.2rpg (#5 in the league), 1.8apg and 1.3bpg. Ammons' team made it to the Macedonian League Semifinals in 2015.
He graduated from University of South Alabama in 2014 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
