Hal Heyward agreed terms with Abejas

Abejas de Leon (LNBP) added 33-year-old American 200cm forward Hal Heyward (college: Columbus State) to their roster. He played this summer at Mineros in the Mexican LBE league. In 8 games he recently played, he recorded impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 6.6rpg, and 1.8bpg. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LBE Honorable Mention for his great season. Heyward also played for another Mexican team, Colibris (CIBAPac).
Heyward is a very experienced player. Thanks to Heyward's pro career, he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America) in six different countries. He has played professionally in Argentina (Huracan), Finland (FoKoPo), France (Laval), Indonesia (Satya Wacana and RANS PIK), and Saudi Arabia (Al Safa).
His team reached the CIBACOPA Semifinals in 2017.
He graduated from Columbus State in 2015 and this will be his 13th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Heyward also played for Middle Georgia Technical College for 2 years.
