Abejas de Leon (LNBP) signed 26-year-old American 192cm guard Anthony Roberts (college: Stony Brook). He last played for Dinamo in the Romanian Liga Nationala during the 2024-2025 season. Roberts took a break from professional basketball for one year before joining Abejas de Leon.
He is a very experienced player. Roberts has also played professionally between France (Le Portel), Hungary (Alba) and Portugal (Vitoria SC/Costa Guerreiro Lda.).
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Hungarian League in 2024. He was voted to the MAC All-Freshman Team back in 2019 during his college time.
Roberts graduated from Stony Brook University in 2022 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like St. Bonaventure University and Kent State University.
