Fuerza Regia tabs Anthony Nelson

Fuerza Regia Monterrey (LNBP) signed 27-year-old American guard Anthony Nelson, who stands at 193cm and played college basketball at Manhattan. He last played for Hall In (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
Three years ago, he was selected by the Delaware Blue Coats (G-League) in the first round (24th overall) of the draft.
He graduated from Manhattan University in 2023, and this will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
Nelson, a very experienced player, has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in five different countries on four different continents. He has played professionally in Canada (Alliance), Japan (Albirex), Angola (Atletico Petroleos de Luanda), Mexico (Venados), and Mongolia (United).
His team reached the Japanese B League D3 Semifinals in 2025. He also played for Seton Hall University for 2 years.
