Tijuana - Obregon 87-73

Tijuana fired past Obregon in the sixth game of the championship series to celebrate CIBACOPA title. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 53-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Tijuana Zonkeys looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's players. It was a good game for naturalized American swingman Karim Scott (196-88) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach James Penny used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (191-90, college: NJIT) replied with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon.
