Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mexican players, who play currently abroad.

Gustavo Ayon
Gustavo Ayon
#1. This week's number one is an experienced international center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: San Jose St., currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Spanish team Real Madrid to a 2-point victory over the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes (8-4) 84-82 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Ayon was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds. Ayon also added 3 assists and 2 blocks in 21 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Real Madrid (10-2) is placed third in the Euroleague. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Ayon's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 9.4ppg, 6.8rpg, 3.1apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 76.2%(32-42) and FT: 68.8% in eight games he played so far. Ayon is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team.
