ERIC MCCLELLAN

Mineros de Zacatecas (LNBP) inked 25-year old American guard Eric McClellan (193-82kg-93, college: Gonzaga). It is actually his comeback to Mineros as he has played here before. McClellan started the season at P.Zvaigzdes in Lithuanian LKL league. In 5 games he recorded 4.4ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.8apg this season. The last season McClellan played at Mineros where in 41 LNBP games he averaged impressive 17.2ppg, 5.9rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP Guard of the Year and voted to 1st Team and voted to All-Imports Team.
Among other achievements McClellan's college team won WCC Tournament for two years in a row (2015 and 2016). He received also All-WCC Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2016.
McClellan has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). McClellan has played previously professionally in Belgium (Limburg United), Germany (Walter Tigers) and Greece (Koroivos).
He attended Gonzaga University until 2016 and it is his third season in pro basketball.
