American Hameed Ali (188-G-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Panteras and that's him to receive a Interperformances LNBP Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 25-year old guard had the game-high 31 points adding three rebounds and six assists for Panteras in his team's victory, helping them to beat Mineros (#1, 21-7) 103-91. Panteras maintains the 4th position in their group in Mexican LNBP. Panteras is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-14 record. In the team's last game Ali had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Panteras' top player in his first season with the team. Texas A&M - Corpus Christi graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ali is in league's top in points (8th best: 19.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 6.6apg) and averages solid 40.2% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 33-year old American power forward Dominic McGuire (206-PF-85) of Aaguacateros. McGuire impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Aaguacateros cruised to a 90-83 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Santos (#6, 10-18). Aaguacateros' 3rd position in North has not changed. His team's 16-10 record is not bad at all. McGuire is a newcomer at Aaguacateros and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Rayvonte Rice (193-G-92) of second-ranked Soles. Rice showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, five rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Soles, leading his team to a 105-86 easy win against #4 ranked Correcaminos in a game of the week. Soles needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in North. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 11 lost games. Rice has a very solid season. In 9 games in Mexico he scored 23.9ppg. He also has 4.7rpg, 2.2spg, FGP: 57.7% and 3PT: 45.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Gerard DeVaughn (206-F/C-88) of Libertadores - 28 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Bryan Davis (206-F/C-86) of Angeles - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jeleel Akindele (216-C-83) of Fuerza Regia - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Yancy Gates (206-C/F-89) of Abejas - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Carlos Rivera (187-PG-83) of Fuerza Regia - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists

10. Joseph Soto (190-G-93) of Lenadores - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
