Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mexican players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Alexander Perez Kaufmann (191-93, agency: Pro Sports, currently plays in Turkey). He led Banvit to a victory over the closely-ranked Acibadem (11-13) 93-84 in the Turkish BSL in Wednesday night's game. Perez Kaufmann was MVP of the game. He recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in 33 minutes on the court. Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (10-13) is placed tenth in the BSL. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Perez Kaufmann has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.7apg, 2FGP: 56.1%(87-155), 3FGP: 34.7% and FT: 83.8% in 23 games he played so far. Ex-Soles de Mexicali player is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced international center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU, currently plays in Euroleague). He could not help Real Madrid (22-8) to beat Zalgiris (15-15). Ayon scored 8 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Real Madrid was defeated 93-86 at home by the lower-ranked Zalgiris (#9). There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Ayon's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 8.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 66.9%(91-136) and FT: 57.4%. Ayon is in the roster of the Mexican senior national team.

   #3. The Mexican player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Paul Stoll (180-85, currently plays in Israel). He was the main contributor in a Maccabi Ashdod's victory against the fifth-ranked Beer Sheva (14-12) 97-88 in the Israeli Winner League on Sunday night. Stoll was the best player in that game. He had a double-double by scoring 22 points and making 10 passes. Stoll also added 7 rebounds in 39 minutes. Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia (17-6) is placed first in the Winner League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Stoll has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg, 3.6rpg, 7.3apg, 3.0spg, 2FGP: 54.7%, 3FGP: 36.4% and FT: 86.0% in 23 games. Stoll is a naturalized American. He is also a member of the Mexican senior national team. Stoll used to play for Algodoneros de La Comarca - Torreon in Mexican league.

   #4. Guard Francisco Cruz (190-89, college: Wyoming, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (9-16) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was crushed 99-76 on the road by the higher-ranked Burgos (#11). Cruz was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. This season Cruz has relatively solid stats: 14.4ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.6apg. He is also Mexican national team player.

The 24-year old player had a double-double of 12 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Venados (#7, 5-7) 111-103. AKEEM SCOTT 35-year old shooting guard Akeem Scott (185-SG-83) had a very impressive game in the last round for Venados and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 5. He had the game-high 35 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Venados in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Tijuana (#1, 8-4) 93-90. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 6 in the CIBACOPA took place in Ciudad Obregon. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Venados (5-7) to first ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (7-4) 85-83 on Wednesday evening.
