Fuerza Regia - Capitanes 89-63

Fuerza Regia claimed LNBP title. They stormed past Capitanes in Game 6 of the championship series to clinch the trophy. Fuerza Regia outrebounded Capitanes 48-35 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) who recorded 21 points and 6 rebounds and Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

The 24-year old player had a double-double of 12 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Venados (#7, 5-7) 111-103. AKEEM SCOTT 35-year old shooting guard Akeem Scott (185-SG-83) had a very impressive game in the last round for Venados and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 5. He had the game-high 35 points adding five rebounds and five assists for Venados in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Tijuana (#1, 8-4) 93-90. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 6 in the CIBACOPA took place in Ciudad Obregon. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Venados (5-7) to first ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (7-4) 85-83 on Wednesday evening.
