   #1. This week's number one is an experienced international center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU, currently plays in Spain). He contributed to a Real Madrid's victory against the fourth-ranked Valencia Basket (21-11) 83-77 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Tuesday night's game. Ayon scored 8 points, had 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 22 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Real Madridis placed in the Liga Endesa. It's Ayon's fifth season with the team. This year he averages: 7.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 63.9%(78-122) in 25 games he played so far. Ayon is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Paul Stoll (180-85, currently plays in Israel). He was the major contributor in a Maccabi Ashdod's victory against the closely-ranked Hapoel Holon (24-9) 100-89 in the Israeli Winner League last Monday. Stoll recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and making 16 passes. He also added and 4 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia (17-6) is placed first in the Winner League. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Stoll has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 3.4rpg, 7.7apg, 2.9spg, 2FGP: 50.5%, 3FGP: 35.2% and FT: 85.0%. Stoll is a naturalized American. He is in the roster of the Mexican senior national team. Stoll used to play for Algodoneros de La Comarca - Torreon in Mexican league.

   #3. The Mexican player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Alexander Perez Kaufmann (191-93, agency: Pro Sports, currently plays in Turkey). He could not help Banvit (14-14) to beat Anadolu Efes (25-3). Perez Kaufmann recorded 5 points and added 6 assists in 30 minutes. Banvit lost 72-81 on the road to the leading Anadolu Efes. They ended the series of five consecutive victories. Perez Kaufmann has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.6apg, 2FGP: 53.2%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 84.3% in 28 games. Ex-Soles de Mexicali player is also a member of the Mexican senior national team.

Guard Francisco Cruz (190-89, college: Wyoming, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (0-0) in their game against La ICL Manresa (17-16) in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Cruz scored 9 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 24 minutes. Buthis team lost 77-86 in Manresa to the much lower-ranked (#7) La ICL. This year Cruz has relatively solid stats: 14.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.8apg in 33 games. He is also Mexican national team player.


One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Mexican passport:

   #1. Joseph Soto (190-G-93, currently plays in Puerto Rico) led Vaqueros to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Atleticos (13-15) 97-80 in the Puerto Rican BSN in Saturday night's game. He scored 13 points and added 6 passes. Vaqueros de Bayamon (15-14) is placed fifth in the BSN. Soto's overall stats this season are: 5.6ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.9apg. He has a dual citizenship: Mexican and Puerto Rican.
