Calvin Godfrey is the newest member of abejas

This afternoon, Abejas de Leon announced that Calvin Godfrey (206-F-90, college: Memphis) sign with the team. Calvin Godfrey last played for Konyasporr (Turkey-TBL) where in 25 games he made some decent numbers as he averaged 15.6ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.5apg, 1.1spg and 1.9 bpg. It's well known that calvin is great at defense, thing that will help his team as they play in a very tought league. The 28 years old american player has also played at Qatar, Uruguay, Czech Republic and some more countries. In all of his seasons he always shine because of his hablity to score and rebound. This would be the fist time Calvin Godfrey play's in mexico and because of his game style he would secure a spot on Abejas de Leon starting 5.

Abejas de Leon has their fist preseason game at september 12 when they face soles at home.
With the incoporation of Calvin Godfrey, abejas now has 9 official player and they will still bring 3 more.
