Visiting Fuerza Regia was defeated by Capitanes in a tough game in Mexico 70-76. Capitanes outrebounded Fuerza Regia 40-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The former international point guard Orlando Mendez-Valdez (175-86, college: WKU, agency: Pro Sports) fired 18 points for the winners. American forward Joel James (208-94, college: UNC) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds.
